Favorite Oil: Peppermint

Upon entering college, I had the desire to study foreign languages and biology to become a family physician in diverse communities. However, as time went on, I realized that I wanted to refine my focus on developing lifelong relationships with people that were centered on wellness and achievement of goals. I was introduced to therapeutic horseback riding when I signed up to volunteer with a small therapeutic riding facility. There, my passion for horsemanship was reborn. In combination with the healing power of the horse, I knew I had found my niche. After graduating, I decided to pursue a career as a PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) Certified Riding Instructor.

Now, I am working full time with horses and children with varying abilities. In my free time, I get to learn about how essential oils benefit our bodies, minds, souls and our four legged friends. My own horse, Knight, is a ten year old kill pen rescue. Our journey together has been intensified ten fold with the assistance of essential oils. The Oily Stable has allowed me to combine my greatest passions; wellness and horses. I hope to continue growing as an instructor and as an ambassador for The Oily Stable with the hopes of one day opening a barn that focuses on healing, horses and oils.

Favorite Oil: Frankincense

Hey there! My name is Emma Rarden, and I am a college student at UCCS in Colorado Springs studying English. My horse addiction began when I started riding in the beginning of 2015, and currently lease a horse named KC at my barn, Lillywood Show Stables. When I joined The Oily Stable in the spring of 2016, I knew I was in the right place. My passion for living a holistic and toxic-free lifestyle and my passion for horses had integrated seamlessly. I look forward to growing closer with you as I become more involved in The Oily Stable!
